    Peter Munyi is a Honorary Research Fellow at the Health Law and Ethics Research Group, School of Law, University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. He earned his PhD at Wageningen University & Research where his research focused on responsible use of intellectual property in agricultural innovations. He undertook part of his doctoral research at University of Bergen and University of Cape Town. He holds a LL.M, specializing in European Intellectual property Law from Stockholm University and his LL.B degree from Moi University. A consultant, legal practitioner and scholar, Peter's research and work transcends intellectual property, access and benefit sharing and public health.
