An accomplished physician, adept strategist, and passionate advocate for data-driven advancements, Dr. Luqman Lawal stands as an embodiment of the harmonization between age-old healthcare practices and groundbreaking technological evolution. Initiated in Nigeria, his academic journey sprouted with a medical degree from the University of Ilorin. An insatiable desire for knowledge propelled him to the University of Minnesota, earning a master’s in public health. He further refined his global health proficiency at the esteemed Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and fortified it with a certificate from the renowned London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

The vast canvas of Dr. Lawal's influence touches over 70 low and middle-income nations, leaving an indelible mark on the global health landscape. His work as the Director of Global health and research at the Starkey Hearing Foundation culminated in the creation of the world's most extensive ear and hearing care database, a testament to his relentless dedication, transforming lives across 75 countries.

The corridors of MIT marked a pivotal chapter in Dr. Lawal's journey, where he earned his MBA from the esteemed MIT Sloan School of Management, emphasizing Business Analytics and platform strategies. Here, he married his clinical acumen with technological insights, championing the utilization of AI/ML to reshape healthcare outcomes, especially for marginalized communities.

His tenure as Vice President of Health Equity at Bright Health Group underscored his commitment to dismantle entrenched barriers preventing underserved populations from realizing their health potential.
