    Harnessing Data Science to Promote Equity in Injury and Surgery for Africa (D-SINE) (Post Doctoral fellow)

    Serge Ngekeng has a PhD in public health from the Department of Public Health and Hygiene, University of Buea, where he currently serves as an associate lecturer. He is passionate about the improvement of health care delivery systems in Cameroon and Africa as a whole. As a STREaM fellow he is excited to participate in research and interventions that will reduce the burden of trauma in Cameroon. Owing to the vital role data plays in directing public health action he looks forward to increase expertise in quantitative research data analysis in order to bridge the wide trauma related data gap in the setting. He has previously worked in the areas of continuous quality improvement and mentorship of laboratory programs under PEPFAR funded HIV program in Cameroon. His research interests are in road traffic injuries with emphasis of the influence of alcohol.
