    UZIMA-DS: UtiliZing health Information for Meaningful impact in East Africa through Data Science (DMAC Lead/Member)

    James has background training in Biostatistics from Hasselt university in Belgium and is in the final stages of completing his PhD in Public health in Ghent University, Belgium. His areas of research includes: improving maternal Newborn and Child health outcomes, and in social determinants of Tuberculosis and HIV in low-middle income countries. Currently working on use of machine learning/Artificial intelligence in MNCH using existing datasets from LMICs.
