    Dr Sibusisiwe Makhanya is a Senior Research Manager at IBM Research Africa and the Co-Investigator of the Heat and Health Trans-disciplinary Research Hub. She trained and earned a PhD in Spatial statistics and practiced as an applied research scientist for over 15 years before management.
