    Gant Manager of the UE5: West Africa Center of Excellence for Data Science Research Education. I graduated from Michigan State University with a master's in the science of Strategic Management. Since 2012, I have been progressively exposed to grant life from pre-award and non-financial post-award administration of grants and contracts including proposal review, approval, and submission; award set-up; and award management support with budgeting, extensions, and other project modifications and reporting. Since joining UCRC of USTTB in 2018, I have been working closely to assist and support researchers in four respective grant submissions and managing fifteen from different funders such as NIH, Fogarty International Center, DFG German, BMGF, WHO, etc. These opportunities require excellent organizational and communicational skills to successfully develop and implement metrics to track operational performance and enhance efficiency with researchers' respective scope of work. Indeed, in the meantime, I am overseeing the day-to-day functioning of 360 employees plus Grants & Contracts including coordination of work agendas and assignments so that deadlines are met, and productivity and efficiency levels remain high.
