    Harnessing Data Science to Promote Equity in Injury and Surgery for Africa (D-SINE) (PhD Student)

    Qualifications: MBChB (UZ) FC Ortho (SA) MMed Orthopaedics (UCT) Current Position: Orthopaedic Trauma Research Fellow Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon After completing his undergraduate training at the University of Zimbabwe, he did his two years of internship and a year of community service as a casualty officer at Mpilo Central Hospital in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. He subsequently joined the surgical department as a medical officer in Orthopaedics at the same hospital. He was then enrolled into the Orthopaedic training programme at the University of Cape Town in 2015 and completed his training in 2021. He is currently an Orthopaedic Trauma Research Fellow affiliated with University of Cape Town Orthopaedic department and Global Surgery department and he will also be pursing a PhD in Global Surgery in 2024.
