    Darshnika Pemi Lakhoo works as a researcher in the climate and health department at Wits RHI. With qualifications as a medical doctor and a master's in public health, she brings a well-rounded perspective to her role. She's actively engaged in several projects, including the HE2AT Center, HIGH Horizons, and HAPI, all aimed at understanding and mitigating the impacts of heat on pregnant women, children, and healthcare workers.
