    Research Training in Data Science for Health in Rwanda (Masters Student)

    My name is Emmanuel Christian NYABYENDA and I have a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from University of Rwanda, and a Master's degree in Mathematical Sciences at the prestigious African Institute for Mathematical Sciences. After obtaining his Master's degree, I continued to develop my skills in data science. I am currently a Scholar in the program called Data Science Training for Health in Rwanda (DST-HIRWA), undertaking a Master's program in Data Science, Biostatistics at the University of Rwanda, African Centre of Excellence in Data Science. I have over 5 years of experience working as a statistician at the National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR). During this time, I honed my skills in data analysis and management, becoming an expert in R, Python, STATA, and SPPS. In addition to his work as a statistician, I also have over 3 years of experience as a part-time Assistant Lecturer at the University Level. My passion for mathematics, coupled with my expertise in data analysis and management, has made me a valuable asset to any organization I work with. I am committed to using my skills and knowledge to make a positive impact on the world around him.
