    Benjamin Aribisala is the programme director for DATICAN. He is  a Professor of Computer Science and a Fulbright Scholar. He has over 28 years of teaching and research experience and has worked in the UK, USA and Nigeria. In particular, he has worked in Newcastle University; UK, the University of Edinburgh; UK, Lagos State University in Nigeria and the University of Chicago, USA. He obtained his PhD degree from The University of Birmingham  in 2006 He has served as Dean of the Faculty of Science at Lagos State University and Head of the Department of Computer Science. He is a data scientist and his research focuses on the application of data science to medical domain.
