    MADIVA (Multimorbidity in Africa: Digital innovation, visualisation and application) (Post Doc)

    Dr. Maghini is a NIH Fogarty postdoctoral fellow, jointly supervised by Dr. Ami Bhatt in the Department of Genetics at Stanford University and Dr. Scott Hazelhurst at the Sydney Brenner Institute for Molecular Bioscience at the University of the Witwatersrand. Her doctoral research focused on the application of sequencing techniques to measure and assemble microbial genomes from South African gut microbiomes, as part of the H3Africa AWI-Gen project. Her current research focuses on understanding the intersection between genomic, environmental, clinical, and microbiome factors in aging and disease in African populations.
