    Dr. Faith Kabata is a Post-Doctoral Researcher in DS-I Africa Law at the University of KwaZulu Natal. Her post-doctoral research focusses on international regulation of human genomic research with publications on genomic sovereignty, the human genome as common heritage of humanity and indigenous peoples and genomic sovereignty in Africa. She is a licensed attorney in Kenya and a law lecturer at Kenyatta University School of Law. She holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Nairobi, Master of Laws from University of Notre Dame, Indiana, USA and a Doctor of Laws from University of Pretoria.
