I am an interdisciplinary researcher with a keen interest in the links between climate risks, public health, and urban change. My work examines how environmental conditions shape health outcomes, particularly in urban areas vulnerable to climate extremes. I focus on applying data-driven methods and spatial analysis to uncover patterns and inform practical solutions for climate adaptation and sustainable urban development. Central to my approach is the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and data science techniques to explore the intersection of climate and health, while also supporting efficient resource management. I draw on Earth system governance frameworks to investigate how institutions and policies respond to environmental challenges, especially within fast-growing urban settings. Currently, my research emphasizes collaborative knowledge production with communities and decision-makers to co-design equitable and locally relevant strategies for adapting to climate stressors. My goal is to contribute to resilient, inclusive, and sustainable futures by integrating scientific insights with real-world policy and planning processes. Through cross-sectoral and interdisciplinary engagement, I aim to bridge research and action-supporting innovative, evidence-based responses to the health and environmental challenges facing cities in the Global South and beyond.
