This session will introduce the NIH STRIDES Initiative and NIH Cloud Lab, two programs run by the National Institutes of Health to reduce the economic and process barriers that prevent researchers from accessing commercial cloud services. The session will include information on how biomedical researchers are using the cloud and will highlight ways for DS-I Africa investigators, post-docs, and undergraduates to access and learn to use commercial cloud services.
