DS-I Africa REDCap Workshop
We are pleased to announce the DS-I Africa REDCap Workshop 17-18 October 2023, Cape Town South Africa.
This workshop is intended to provide some intensive REDCap training for REDCap Users who design and set up data collection projects in REDCap. As we believe we may have a mixed bag in terms of levels of REDCap experience amongst our attendees, we are focusing on best practices when building data collection instruments; designing surveys; using alerts and notifications to automate many project activities and building custom reports.
Depending on the level of experience attendees have we may be able to extend training into REDCap dashboard building and open up a session for users to bring problems or builds from home for discussion or working on. We are also open to expressions of interest from PIs and those attending which may determine some of the agenda for example if there is a strong interest in Mobile REDCap or REDCap Installation we can include sessions in the workshop time dependent.
The lead trainer will be Irma Mare who recently moved to Vanderbilt University and has been one of the leading trainers in Africa having initiated REDCap Africa while based at Wits University. She will be supported by a number of very experienced REDCap Administrators and Users to help during the workshop.
