The EOSC-Future & RDA Artificial Intelligence and Data Visitation Working Group (AIDV-WG) addresss ethical, legal, and social challenges of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Visitation (DV) affecting of state-of-the art data technology impacting scientific exchange in the context of data sharing and the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) and other Open Science infrastructures. The AIDV-WG has been established through a competitive call for proposals for RDA Working Groups focusing on the development of solutions for ethics, law, and governance in Open Science, working in conjunction with the European Commission-funded project EOSC Future. The AIDV-WG has built one of the largest and most global membership of international and cross-disciplinary experts that includes leading scientists in AI, data science, data stewardship as well as involving researchers focused on the ethical, legal, and social questions and challenges that surround these technologies. It has recently produce four deliverables.

The Al-Hendy lab also develops and investigates the efficacy of novel, non-surgical treatment options for uterine fibroids, endometriosis, and more. Currently, the Al-Hendy research team is developing innovative therapeutics against female infertility using mesenchymal stem cells and/or its exosomes. The lab's research is funded by various agencies, including several R01 grants from the NIH (NICHD, NIEHS, NIMHD, ODS, OD, NCRR), USDA, other national and international organizations as well as pharmaceutical collaborative research agreements and contracts.
