Dear Sponsor Network Partner,

We hope this message finds you well.

We are reaching out to offer an exciting sponsorship opportunity. The DS-I Africa Consortium, through the Coordinating Centre and the Partnership and Outreach Working Group (POWG), is inviting organizations to partner with us in our mission to advance and strengthen the Data Science Community in Africa. We would be honored to have your support for our upcoming consortium meeting.

About DS-I Africa Consortium:

Welcome to the forefront of cutting-edge innovation in healthcare and data science with the DS-I Africa Consortium. Our consortium stands as a beacon of collaboration and expertise, uniting a diverse array of professionals including data scientists, AI and research professionals, healthcare workers, biomedical scientists, computer scientists, data science experts, ethics researchers, and NIH program staff.

Comprising 38 projects funded by the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH), our consortium is driven by a shared passion for understanding the intricate connections between diseases, the environment, climate change, and their profound impact on human health.

At the core of our mission lies the commitment to leverage the power of data science and a rich array of tools such as machine learning, deep learning, artificial intelligence, computer science, computational biology, bioinformatics, mathematics, modeling, big data analytics, and statistics. Through this interdisciplinary approach, we strive to pioneer innovative solutions that revolutionize healthcare practices and outcomes.

Partnerships & Outreach Working Group

One of our core strengths lies in our inclusive approach to building and strengthening the Data Science Community of Africa. The POWG maintains an open-door policy, with membership open to any organization that shares our commitment to advancing the data science ecosystem in Africa. The group meets virtually every month to discuss strategies and opportunities for improved collaboration across disciplines and between academic and non-academic organizations.
